jxm "I ended up teaching Corrales how to play craps" dude, that reminds me of the time i played miniature golf with marvin hagler! he was scratching his head on the 4th hole, the one with the windmill, and i went up and said, "marvelous one, can i show you a few tricks?", and by the time the evening was over, he was whacking the ball into the whale's mouth with both eyes closed. he used an orange ball, and mine was green. what a night. ;) mark

WOW!!! What a story, that's one for the books! Did you get a picture? The only one I have even close to that - and not boxing related - comes from July of 1999 when I was walking on the Upper East Side at about 6:30pm (as I have uneventfully thousands of times), whereupon this time - and on an otherwise empty street, no less - I found myself walking directly up on Woody Allen, Soon Yi w/baby carriage, and a bodyguard trailing respectfully behind. I introduced myself and we spoke for about a minute, both of them receiving and friendly before excusing ourselves. A real NY moment, I tell you. I met one of the Klitschko bros. briefly during the Lewis-Grant fight, and sat about 30 seats away from Mike Tyson & entourage at the last Mosely gig. But all three of those pale in comparison to yours! LPS5
