bosquedog, I expect the energy crisis to spread to other states because:

1. The fundamental reason for the shortage is that new power plants have not been built as needed because utilities face the uncertainty of deregulation and may not be able to recover their investment. It hit California first because of their high growth rate.

2. Virtually all new plants of the past few years use natural gas for fuel and I expect it to become short of needs also.
