Bush may be discovering what Clinton discovered early in his presidency: it's the long term interest rates stupid. AG has no control over those; the market does. And if the market doesn't like that tax cuts AND low short term rates, it will send long term rates sky high: bye-bye cheap refinancing, bye-bye housing markets, bye-bye economic expansion.
