Hi all - pompsander, hard to say, fund mgrs may not want to jump into everything tech right away

Trim Tabs on fund flows
--9:25 am - By Tomi Kilgore
Trim Tabs estimates that funds investing in U.S. equities took in $2.3 billion
in the two days ending Jan. 18, but told clients in a research note that there
was "mounting evidence that the public is souring on technology funds." The
net asset value of funds investing in technology rose a disappointing 5.8
percent, according to Trim Tabs, resulting in inflows of $84 million during the
period. Meanwhile, bond and hybrid funds had inflows of $232 million.

OTOH, I think this may be a good time to add to my tech mutual fund hldgs for 2 reasons. A) out of favor; and B) tech funds are better managed with a smaller inflow. The caveat is if there is a net outflow, fund mgr's hands may be tied in fear of continuous redemption

best, Bosco
