<My guess is $55/MWH is the maximum price utility companies are willing to buy. Otherwise they have to increase the selling price, or suffer a loss. Davis is very clear if the energy bill increases, CA will be in recession. Most tech companies will move their facilities out-of-state> Mumbling on the radio here in AZ that the state may face something similar to CA in the future... hard to say if it's just rumormongering. AZ is one of the favorite destinations of fleeing tech's from CA. Also, what's with this 55mwh thing?? Get the price up and some new generating facilities build no?? I don't get it. DAK
