CCC, I question all of their numbers. However, I question their earnings numbers much more than their revenues. They have been stating earnings in the most positive way allowed by law for years now. And, no, they are not alone in their creativity. However, I do think they are alone in how much creativity they employ and how well they have gotten away with some very shaky reports. There used to be a standard for good companies called "quality of earnings." IBM has left that standard far behind and is now one of the Judas goats of lowest common denominator reporting.
