good to hear from you- what you describe is one of the oldest strategies there is for trading the Fidelity Sector funds - I forget the exact formula, but it is something along the lines of sorting the sector funds over a 4 week period and picking the strongest, and then constantly evaluating them over a thre month period until one of the funds falls out of the top ten, at which point you go back to step one. I think that strategy lost favor, perhaps because people were busy building more and more complex ones.

wiondering why you are focusing on the Profund sector funds rather than the Rydex funds. it would seem to me that more historical data is available on the latter. unless you are trying to actually trade the underlying, then Profunds would be better I suppose...
