They certainly would have gone off by themselves if they could have pulled it off. In at least one of the three counties they made a blatant attempt to do just that. An attempt was made to recount votes from only precincts that were heavily democrat to sway public opinion in Gore's favor. The vote fraud I refer to occurred in the Miami Mayoral race and was found to be so by the courts. Do you need more evidence or does that jog your memory?
