I am fully recovered from a lingering virus and have resumed most of my physical activities: shouting fore on the links on the rare occasions when I strike the dimpled (no hanging chads), white pellet; bicycling 12 miles a day to the bemused stares of those who enjoy seeing a geezer making a fool of himself; and, on today's agenda, getting back to my jogging regimen ( braced knees and ankle permitting). On the other hand, my absence from the thread was occasioned by a bout of deep depression, similar to the one that impaired levy last year, although mine resulted from an entirely different causation. Simply, but most embarrassingly put, it was brought about when I was jilted by Beautiful Rudi, my very own DDCL, who deserted me for three (now, two...she had to surrender one to Carolyn) bejeweled, jellybelly rug salesmen. I asked her not to forsake me, but to no avail...Oh, fie on the fickle nature of the gender...Even today's sad events cannot compare to losing dear Beautiful Rudi...levy, is help available from the Post Tech DotComBomb Support Group?...Sarkie, doesn't AA remind you of one of the rug salesman in the photograph? I understand Arthur is despondent about Beautiful Rudi's faithless act, but there is little I can do to help man's best friend...Speaking of man's best friend, won't someone contact our devoted border collie and beg him to return...only H0-MEE, our missing shepherd, can bring order out of today's chaotic events...
