DYSL up almost 21% to 2 9/16 on heavier than average volume. Co. to be appearing at the Photonics West trade conference and next week is their annual shareholder meeting. Excellent profits, small float and tiny market cap. Regards.

Gary, Here is a micro that you used to follow where the vol is starting to pick up. AMCI is just starting to move and is coming off news of a $25 mil potential contract. News is expected later this week.

gary, AMLJ look closely at the AMLJ device it is an electronic device a clock recovery amplifier that transfers RF microwave signals to optical networks this is not an optical amplifier or optical equipment. Definitely a picture of an electrical device. (see photo and spec here)
amlj.com

I see no mention of the word "sales" or "revenues" in AMLJ's infamous optical press release.

AMLJ provides wireless communication equipment and also makes this clock recovery amplifier that could be used in OC-192 networks. I'm not sure if AMLJ has sold any of these "clocks"

The press release implies AMLJ has been marketing their "clocks" and future fabrication possibilities of similar devices.

That said possibly AMLJ is "brainstorming" a business strategy for next generation DWDM optical equipment. Possibly spending some R&D money and marketing money on their current customers.

Because AMLJ appears to be in the right place at the right time could we speculate that in two years AMLJ will be making optical equipment for OC-192 networks?

AMLJ customers include AT&T, Lucent, Marconi.
amlj.com

Lucent and Marconi are two companies trying to give Nortel the OC-192 world leader some competition.

AT&T is actively upgrading there OC-48 network to OC-192 claiming to have the first coast to coast USA OC-192 network

But it's hard is say whether AMLJ will realign their RF wireless fabrication facilities to produce optical equipment in the future? Optical equipment is simplier than electronic devices (has less moving parts and probably much higher profits) Makes sense to me given AMLJ 's current customers are major international players of OC-192 DWDM networks. Definitely one worth watching. Let me know if you are following any other optical microcaps gems. I have a position in POCI and looking into APAT FIBR and OPTC.
