More on EEE and Dan Wilson's assumptions for $4+

EEE is worth at least $4US

Let me back this up.

I've built a detailed Net Income and Cashflow model for EEE. Using full year commodity prices (net to EEE but before Alberta royalty taxes) of $5.50/mmbtu and $23/bbl oil (in U.S. dollars) I come up with the following forecast for 2001:
> EPS = $0.75 U.S.
> CFPS = $1.40 U.S.

Now one may argue that the NG price above won't hold beyond 2001 but I would counter with a) it just might, b) the crude oil price might also be too low, and c) it now appears that EEE has considerable upside via increased daily production.

As I previously posted, if Olds Field can now be expected to increase production by 100,000 mcfpd that would be a sharp increase to the volumes I've used in the model.

Hang Tough! We aren't far from the finish line on this speculative play.

John, what do you think they'll fetch in a buyout? What do you think they'd fetch in 12 months without a buyout?

Curious. TIA
