I remember a fellow(you) who claimed Gilder doesn't give credit for his ideas to such scientists who may have come up with them, when in fact he's relentlessly done so all along, while encouraging his readers to read them. I recall several "goons" providing the hard evidence(abundant indeed) from Gilder's actual writings, which blew your specific example out of the water(and the whole concept easily indeed), thus serving interests in truth rather than necessarily those of Mr. Gilder per se. Some folks will seem to say anything Gilder negative, irrespective of due consideration of the truth. Jealously? Beats me. Dan B
