i believe it's tomorrow, and there will be two more after that one. the big hedgers are going to need those auctions, although it seems Anglo and Barrick are trying to cobble together a bid for Goldfields. which btw. would confirm my suspicion that the scuttling of the GOLD/FN merger by the SA govt. was a result of interference by Anglo.

Tomorrow. Commercials added 21000 contracts long last week per COT report, and are now very long (Over 60K), speculators that short. Expect fireworks in the gold price like Sept-1999, since the setup is roughly similar.
