Earlie, indeed. if one only thinks back to the progression of the Asian crisis into the Russian default and how the market kept going until the last minute basically. the Cali situation reminds me of the attitude on display back then.

and you're quite right about the gold stocks, currency hedge, inflation hedge, and deflation hedge rolled into one.
