Don't be confused. Just because every sentence doesn't contain a reference to
Alpha, doesn't mean Alpha isn't the answer. In general, if you can argue
from the lesser to the greater you don't have to rattle the greater.

Likewise, Alpha must have greater futures than Power4,Power5 in
certain configs and segments. After all, when is the last time
IBM beat out Compaq for a 30 or 100 Teraflop system bid?

EV7? Wish I could say: "just around the corner." But like
Power4, we may not see boxes until year end. Until then,
EV68 and spins thereof. Better than 2000 for Alpha,
but we shall see!
