For those of you still eyeing SMOP for the "arbitrage" to the buy out price of 4.71... The tape today showed 'sniper' buys near the open and close today...not much else.

PEX announced that they 'may' buy SMOP shares on the open market prior to the buyout. This suggests to me that they bought a bunch near the open....then waited through the days so as not to drive up the price.....then bought a bunch near the close.

While it is fun to buy/sell for quick easy gains like EEE, I sure like the 'money in the bank' feeling of about a 12-13% return over 2 1/2 months, since the stock is trading pretty close to its "Net Asset Value" per the prior quarterly report.

FWIW, still 'long and strong' SMOP........
