Hi a - while I am also impressed with INSP business prospect, mgt is what makes or breaks a company. Stock price of great companies may stumble now and then, like CSCO [no position] but lousy mgt can kill a great company, like LU [no position.] As far as INSP mgt is concerned, maybe it is too soon to tell. If Mr Jain & his crew can shoulder the load, more power to them. Indeed, a bloated organization doesn't automatically make a great organization. OTOH, if this is a egoistic purge, it is the first sign of trouble. Right now, I still ve no idea which category it belongs to

best, Bosco

Not surprised at all with regard to the departure of Horowitz...

To his credit he is one heck of an entrepeneur who knew how to play the wall street game... In '95, '96 he saw the once in a lifetime opportunity and worked hard to get it... Wall Street wanted anything internet...he gave them internet! Very smart guy...

BUT, it was also clear that his cash out in March of '99 was exactly that!! Think about it! He got $90 Million CASH from the Paul Allen investment nearly 2 years ago!! While getting another $300 Million for the company coffers!! To put that in perspective, he put $90 Million CASH in his pocket 4 weeks before the quarter ended... and what was the COMPANY QUARTERLY REVENUES for GNET at that time... $2.6 Million!!! I call that brilliant!!

As far as Sarin, don't get this at all!! He was the one who theoretically brought this INSP /GNET deal together! Remember the story about him seeing Russ Horowitz in the airport???

It looks like everybody ends this thing with what they really wanted... ( except for the fact that everybody lost big in their share prices )...

Russ Horowitz exits a very rich man without having to be blamed at all for the stock decline he knew would come... Naveen has CONTROL and Russ Horowitz' $300 Million that was in the GNET coffers...and Sarin, I don't think this guy made out to well here... but who knows...

Best to ALL!

Optimists take heed....playa, Dr Zax, and Doug F. speak words of wisdom.

People like Russ don't gear up to run the show and then suddenly walk out the door. Something went down between him and the ego monster.
