Teresa,

I got a great idea from studying the wedges you drew on the Nasdaq100. Thanks for the chart and explanation.

Regards,
Mechanical Method

Teresa,

When you get a chance could you please address this post:
Message 15209652

If only briefly that would be fine... I know you're busy with the new baby and all.

My primary interest would be in determining how best to spot these dramatic trend reversals (witness BARZ). In my own charting I look for such things as a mature ADX trend, slow stochastics that have been riding the 0 or 100 line for extended periods of time... horizontal resistance/support, etc.

Thanks,
Dave

PS: my congrats go out to the new member of your family... he's fortunate enough to have been blessed with a very smart mommy. Hope you spoil him rotten <gg>

Teresa, is the 1-2-3 zone

ispeculator.com

the same as the 1-2-3 lines defined in the link

ispeculator.com

Also, the upper purple trend line connects the highs near Nov. 6 and Dec. 11, but there appears to be a more recent peak near Jan. 2... why aren't the two most recent peaks used for the trend line? Thanks.

NQ Rising wedge - can it now be redrawn like this?

home.flash.net

If so, we're about to test the bottom of the wedge....
