A M A Z I N G ! Announce a major shortfall and get upgrades and kudos galore.BTW,
this is the same company that started Compaq with a "Hold" January 4th 2001.

Corp. (DELL US) was raised to ''buy'' from ''hold'' by analyst Charles R
Wolf at Needham & Co. The target price is $31 per share.

El-- thats what he said! Now if he makes .29 or better you sail. If he makes .28 and NO ugly fwd statement you still sail. Now if he does .28 and hedges on the year-- or does less than .28 a buying OP is formed. Agreed,, 23 - 25 by the end of the year but there may be more trading OPs 1st. Luck!

I'm expecting CPQ to post quarterly earnings 'near' current guidance (.29-.31) but

the KEY will be the cc and forward looking statements/guidance .... in this vain

IMHO, the past week's ++ announcements (DOE/Sandia/Celera supercomputer, YHOO deal, 3 Exchanges choosing CPQ for infrastucture, US Army 80k laptop deal, Euro improvement, the high probability of 2nd half IT increases in spending and the impending the FOMC's lowering interest rates)

ARE ALL VERY POSITIVE and will/should move CPQ to 25+ within the next few weeks
