Is there such a thing as a DSL standard. What I mean by this is if I had a computer that had an internal DSL modem and I lived in Florida using Bell Souths DSL, then I moved to Seattle and had to use Qwests DSL service,
would the modem work? It strikes me that the money with companies that make DSL modems
will be the ones that get them shipped installed when someone buys a Dell or whatever. And I
must admit that I don't like external modems.
