<<<I do NOT chew... never again.

LOL

'78.... winter....Buffalo New York.......oil refinery....and there, too. "one would soon have his manhood doubted & certainly would not 'fit in' - if one didn't 'chew' - or at least didn't try to 'chew' "

Except the mean bastards told this naive kid that "swallowing the juice is the best part!"

It was a LONG, cold afternoon.........

O/T Slider, Today, you and a few others on the Thread have had me laughing so hard its brought tears to my eyes. The chew talk reminds me of a story you Texans may appreciate. Back in the early eighties I worked for Santa Fe Intl in Orange, CA. Yeah, I'm from So Cal but where I differ is that I was born here and not under the bright lights of the city but out in the Mojave desert. Anyhow, I made frequent trips to Houston and Dallas (love those girls from Dallas. None finer and I've been quit a few places on this earth). One day I was introduced to the manager of our rig up yard and while we talked, he would just let the juice from his chew run out of his mouth, down his chin and on to his boot... non stop. He never wiped, stepped away, acknowledged it was happening, and never skipped a beat in what he was telling me. I'll never forget the guy, and a great guy he was. Some time later I gave the kid stuff a try, what's that, Coppenhagen I think?, and got dizzy and sick to my stomach and wasn't sure if I'd ever stop puking. Seems like a lot of pain to get that habit working.????
