Actually, I was laughing about it, as were the reporters. But in retrospect, I am sure he had a reason to "test" that bit of spin to see if his minions would buy it. Although the Fox News media had a good yuck about it, I hear that the "mainstream" news <ie CBS, NBC, etc etc> were very easy on the revster.
