I wonder how many missed the scream like I almost did. I thought it was done, got distracted and a minute later...

It does arouse some visceral feelings. Not sure what they are. My mental picture is of those old movies where the circle of people say, "come (loud sigh), come (a loud sigh)--and so on--the person walking ever so slowly toward the evil, his/her Will subordinated to some Supernatural Force. I must be remembering a movie, but I have no idea which one...
