Ron, I am an AA. I fully support the AA program, and recommend them as the most successful group or organization for recovery from alcoholism.

By the way, I have NEVER seen one person cured of alcoholism or have the guiding forces of their life and emotional makeup changed miraculously or instantaneously in one fell swoop. Just doesn't happen. Takes a belief in God for sure. But hard work on yourself and honesty and accountability is the stuff that changes a personality from a bedeviled sot into a normal human being again.

I don't go regularly to meetings anymore. I still do a lot of 12 Step work though. I have turned into a student of the Bible and have regularly studied eschatology. Its quite amazing how 19 century liberal eschatology has sought to redefine and reconstruct the Biblical concept of the Kingdom of God.

It a full time effort. Of that I am sure.

Hope you are doing well. Take care and stay well.

James
