I agree with you t2. CA dug itself in a hole and unfortunately
we, taxpayers are left, as usual to bail them out.

Their economy is very sensitive to Nasdaq downdrafts
and so 50 basis points makes sense.

Also , perhaps, Greenspan now remembers than in HIS last
recession in 1991,
HE was 6 months late in recognizing it's beginning
and he reacted too late in lowering rates.

That's why it lasted 9 months,

I think we will definitely see 0.5% drop in rates, based on

0.6% drop of U.S. index of leading economic

siliconinvestor.com

plus CA energy issue
plus the superfast Economy which now turns itself off on a dime
and needs immediate recharge or it will freeze.

Tax cuts also needed,as well as spending cuts,
