this is just a quick thought .... and might NOT be of any help/relevance .... back in the days when I traded equities before I learned that the spoo was the proper place for me ... I traded PETD and traded PETD and traded PETD many times per day/week/month .... longest time I held was probably a couple of quarters a portion of the position but (and I forget now where I found the data ....) I kept a chart of the wellhead price from the Homa La list and, danged if it "alone" (the wellhead price, that is) was a nearly exact forecaster of the price of PETD ... but due to the relatively thinly traded mkt on PETD I couldn't trade many more than a couple of thousand shares without ME becoming the market .... ggggg don't know if this is still true or not .. and when I catch some time, I'm gonna check but the thread need something to think about besides JT's gold ......
