WOOF!" ...that's my other dog imitation (^_^) hey DJ ~ are you guys getting this Ken Burns TeeVee documentary series, "Jazz" that's been playing last coupla weeks over here on our PBS channels ? ...every evening, each episode moves forward in time/history of Jazz; eg., last night we were about where "swing" was peaking ~ late 30's ~ WWII... Goodman/Shaw/Miller/Ellington, etc. (I remember how popular this music still was when we were in europe ~ RadioParis played swing music on a regular basis) ... and Gillespie/Parker were just starting to explore modern jazz ~ which will be the subject of this evening's Jazz episode: "Risk". anyhoo ~ great stuff! and we hope you're getting it over there on your cable or parabola ;-) -Steve
