The AMD definition of "in volume" is 2000 units/month !!

Based on my un-scientific survey, just this one on-line vendor: tccomputers.com sold 100 1.2 GHz Athlons in last 5 days (which BTW beats the entire production of Intel 1.13 GHz CPUs), which translates to a monthly rate of 600 1.2 GHz Athlons / month for just 1 vendor that is way down on the food chain.
