That is an important concept I'll try to follow. As of now there seem to be two types of charts.
Those which have broken through their adjacent top resistance lines and those that haven't.
Earnings announcements may be constraining the have nots.

Re. leadership, market breadth is greatly improving - there has been an incredible rally of washed out small and midcap stocks during the last few weeks. Re Nas - 2850 is key barrier, if it can be taken out (as I suspect it will) then it will confirm upmove.
