Hi Raja,

When I wrote that a lot of folks were taken by surprise, I did not mean that astrologers were taken by surprise. As a matter of fact, CNBC and many Wallstreeters and investors/speculators did say they were taken by surprise because the Feds don't normally lower interest rates in between Fed meetings.

Your interpretation was based on Hindu Astrology. I know this because you mentioned that Saturn is the ruler of Aquarius! and besides, I have read some B.V. Raman's translations of Jyotisha Subramania and the Brihat Jitaka. No wonder you made no mention of Pluto in Sagittarius (Dhanus) opposing Jupiter (Guru) in Gemini(Mithuna)! In the next few months this opposition will be gaining in strength and may hurt the "bullishness" of the present market.

BTW, in Western Astrology, Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn (Makara) and Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius (Kumbha).

Perhaps the bullishness we are seeing now is not due so much to the Shokran-Sani mutual-reception since Sani was in the tail end of Taurus, but due to the prayers of the supplicants and worshippers at this year's (most auspicious one in 144 years) "Kumbh Mela" in India. To be sure many supplicants there (from all over the world including badly-hammered hi-tech investors) have asked to be returned to financial solvency!!! And it appears their prayers are being answered!!! <ggg>
