Chris-- some in the military had them provided by their agency and the Joint Chiefs provided a small amount also,, NOW they have security concerns,,, I was given a PALM,, gave it to a subordinate as it was just one more thing to carry,, in my 'old age' I've concluded anyone can reach me through my office or cell phone-- if that does not do it they will just have to go it alone.. LOL!

I would have loved to have the IPAQ, but like everyone else, couldn't find it. I think after close to a year Compaq must be real close to finding a solution to the iPAQ shortage. In a joint program with EDS, they are currently giving away one at every home game of the Ottawa Senators. I can't see them giving them away if they have back orders in the hundreds of thousands as implied by that Palm promotion article posted a few back by HIO. Besides promoting something you can't deliver would only tick-off potential customers. Robin
