It wasn't originally my question- it was posed to me by someone else. I don't see any tea leaves- but as a disease AIDS seems to me to be like Ebola or any other deadly disease we don't know how to treat: it will kill anyone, so study it, and hope to find a cure. Reading the tea leaves in our society I think we probably burned up a lot of valuable research time by not funding this disease earlier because it was perceived by the ignorant to be a gay disease. It is too bad that it won't be only the ignorant who suffer.
