Elmer, <I would like to remind you that one does not wage a price war from above. AMD has always waged the price war by undercutting Intel's prices, not the other way around> You can remind me, sure. The term "price war" always gets both sides accusing each other of starting it first. Perhaps there is a better term for what is transpiring. I do not know who initiates it or who keeps it going. I feel that it is a natural response to the inventory situation (OEM's are seeking lower prices from Intel and AMD). In any event, it is not good, especially for AMD, IMHO. SK
