PKI is a futuristic technology and it is easy to do business without it. At the same time the Network Solutions registrations business may be slowing , affecting by dot-com blow up.
For security CHKP is the gorilla, and its product is absolutely mission-critical. Not so VRSN. That is why VRSN may not have a good outlook for the rest of the year.
