JDSU has no sellers...it is that simple.
Short interest in JDSU, PMCS, JNPR types went up a lot in December. Add the short sellers to the mix and we have the making of an explosive move ahead of earnings.
This morning was a great buying opportunity for those that needed to increase their position.

I keep bringing up the VTSS example of yesterday...stock drops from 67 to 61 afterhours on the earnings and today it is at 76!

That is telling us a lot about companies that continue to grow but are well off their highs. These companies are not warning in the communication chips and optical component sectors.
Add better interest rates to the mix, we get easier financing for the carriers. Therefore, buildout of networks continues.
It has been true even with the slowdown as so many companies have been still increasing spending on newer technologies like optical.

Basically, what I am getting at is that there is no reason for sell such companies and are probably looking a lot now than the TXN types--ie the slow growers that are now no growth companies. The high PE growth stocks are looking like better buys especially after they are down so much.
