Okay, let's look a little deeper into the insider sales. This shows you the percentage of holdings that each insider sold:

Walter Alessanddrini (CEO) sold .3% of holdings
Simon Cao (Board member) sold 2.5% of holdings
Jessy Chao (CFO) sold 7% of holdings
Jiang Paul (VP) sold 7.7% of holdings
James Pickering (VP) sold 9% of holdings
Florence Anthony (VP) sold 11% of holdings
Peter MacGuire (VP) sold 3.7% of holdings

* The CEO still holds over 5 million shares
* The CFO still holds over 1.2 million shares
* Simon Cao still holds over 3.5 million shares

These seem relatively insignificant to me. The swoon the market took in Oct-Dec would probably scare anybody into selling(!) Plus, several studies have shown that insider trades, especially sales, have not been a very reliable indicator for a company's prospects.

Bottomline, after the conf call tomorrow afternoon, no one wil be talking about insider sales. They will be talking about the tremendous growth AVNX is having and how AVNX will be setting important standards for the FO industry.

Alastair, congrats if you're short AVNX, down almost $10 from the close. I was very tempted before the close.

QLGC down about 8 AH, MSCC will probably sell off tomorrow, it's not active AH.

Regards,

Tom
