Okay here is a cajun chicken recipe...everyone from LA. feel free to change or add to the recipe..

6 Chicken breast halves
1 T red pepper
1 T black pepper
1 T paprika
2 T garlic powder
1 T oregano
1 T thyme
1 T onion powder
1/3 Cup olive oil

clean chicken, removing skin and all visible fat. Rinse with cold water and pat dry.
In a blender, mix red and black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, thyme onion powder and salt. Slowly pour in the olive oil and blend until a thick paste is formed. Rub each chicken breast with the paste until it is thoroughly coated. Put the chicken on a greased broiler pan, cover and refrigerate overnight so that the paste and seasonings can marinate the chicken.

Broil the chicken for fifteen minutes, turn and broil fifteen more. Cover pan with foil and bake at 300F for twenty more minutes.
