If Clinton's economy was an abyss, I guess Dubya is praying for the Marianis Trench.

No way the GOP ducks out when they control both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue -- or, more precisely, no way they get away with trying (I'm sure you're right that they will blame others for any failures on their part - that has been their pattern for 50 years).

If the economy is in the tank in October 2002 (or there are other Bush-inspired disasters about), the American people are rightfully going to blame the Republicans who control every branch of government in Washington. As Ish has stated, Bush enters the office as the strongest President in history, and with effective control of the Congress, GW needs not a single Dem vote to get his agenda enacted. With power comes accountability. Your guys are in charge. Get over it.
