Not a lot of CC joking going on. Serious questions and serious answers delivered in a matter of fact manner. In my judgement, some analysts were taken off guard. Nobody got smart with MC about his projections this time. IMHO the analysts were intently listening with some new found respect. Questions were asked about possible financial weaknesses and solid answers were given. If you have time to listen to a recording it is well worth the time. A lot of numbers were broken out in more detail then in previous years. Some fantastic overseas growth numbers and making a profit was emphasized.

Can you mention whether or not there were more than the usual pleasantries exchanged and whether there was a sense of surprise with the performance.

Rob Black, who has a syndicated radio show called, of all things "Stock Talk" said on tonight's show that he was blown away when he heard Dan Niles say 'nice quarter' or something like that. Black said Niles never says anything like that on CC call-ins.
