No doubt the macroeconomics condition is hostile to businesses and one can easily understand management being a little off. In this case, it appears they grossly miscalculated and mismanaged the situation. From what we can see, SCI's performance is less consistent than it peers and I guess this is one reason it's selling at a discount relative to other EMCs.

What we are hearing is a bunch of lame excuses from the company. Frankly SCI shareholders ought to seek a change in management.

Even though we're inexpensive (in terms of PE relative to growth rate), it looks like the worst is yet to come but I hope I am wrong. Hopefully, not too many analysts/brokerages (Wall St vultures and "licensed con artists?") will come down on SCI tomorrow or the following day.
