I don't know... probably, to some extent. I know a Dutch woman, gay, who owns and manages a girlie bar catering to European tourists. An interesting character: I suppose I could ask her, but she is possibly not representative of the national character, at least not where colonial issues are concerned.

I can't understand why the Dutch still travel in Bali, and Java, where they are absolutely HATED. It strikes me as similar going to visit the ex-wife you abused, for your vacation. I like to go where I am wanted.
