Futures have come down to 21 from 47. I think you can see
Institutions at work: ie, you don't see the insane bidding
we had a year ago with YHOO up 15 points in pre-market by
the mo mo Vegas crowd.

Now we have a little more savvy Institutions who will buy
but will make a less outrageous offer for a stock.

That's fine, less volatility will make for more sustained
long term gains,

Big funds like Fido contributed the volatility to a great extent. However, they did themselves (and shareholders) a disservice by reckless market timing.

My Fido accounts (combination of 3 funds in Select Portfolio) declined almost 40% in 2000. A lot lot lot worse than my own performance.
