GZ, this must be the "trailer trash" post Poet was referring to -- as you must know. Once or twice some years ago I watched some of those day time TV programs where they interview trailer trash, you know, like Montel, if he's still on, I've no clue... anyway, most all the posters on that no gloves thread behave and post very much like that trailer trash you'd find on those idiotic programs..... I bet some of those posters have actually been guests on those shows themselves too, what a life they must lead..... Message 15229141 True, you do not say that Poet personally is "trailer trash." But, as a self-declared expert in the insult department, you are certainly aware that the "guilt by association" technique can be even more effective than the "insult direct": e.g., "Since you post over there, you probably behave like trailer trash/Commies/whatever...(and maybe you actually are trailer trash/Commies/whatever)."...Get the ominous, slightly spooky tone. (Very effective, as I said.) And instead of asking Poet what she meant by "trailer trash," why don't you tell us what you meant? jbe
