DownSouth, I actually had to go read your response to me to see why I feel the way I do. You said: "Eric, I think you misread the cards here." Meaning = "Your're wrong and don't know what you're talking about." So DS can't disagree with you without your getting wounded? Sounds like the reason that there may be one prominent voice here (and actually I think that there are a few, though DS is the most prolific) is that some can't handle someone challenging their viewpoint. If you felt that DS was disrespecting your opinion (and it sounded to me like he disagreed in a respectful way), why didn't you try to restate or make a stronger case? You also make a similar point about Mike Buckley on the Siebel thread. I have never seen Mike be disrespectful in dealing with anyone (except me).:-) Dr.Id

Eric, if I had meant "you...don't know what you're talking about" I would have said so. What I said was I saw things differently, in other words, I disagreed. Don't put words in my mouth, please. If you do that on any thread, in any conversation, then you are never going to hear anyone but your own voice. If you are looking for a place where everyone will always agree with you, then please find a subject about which you are always correct, then prove it over time. Then everyone will always agree with you, except those that are wrong.
