Excuse me, but the acquisitions were supposed to increase shareholder value. Yes, it's not exactly apples to apples, but the dilution of acquiring GNET was supposed to be offset by the value of GNET.

Was there value to the GNET acquisition? Yes, but the market sees that value as lower than it did the day of the acquisition. Almost every internet stock is valued differently than they were 8 months ago.

The analysts were idiots to have a $150 or a $240 price target for INSP (with or without the acquisitions). Now they are probably idiots to downgrade at $7. What's new.

Dave

Bosco,

ML's price target peaked at $175 and then stayed at $100 until it was automatically removed by a downgrade to Neutral. Blodget has a tendency to publish a target and then act like it never existed. I wonder what the ML investment bankers were telling GNET guys about the prospects for INSP stock.

Other ML targets recently removed by downgrades to Neutral: VERT $175, RNWK $100.

Other ML targets they just stopped talking about: FMKT $100, AMZN $100, HOMS $110, AETH $350, NTAP $185.
