Nepotism. Maurice, you have heard of the three big motivators--money, power and sex. A bigger one to many people is that they want something good for their children and will do most anything to get it. Some people want something for themselves; others want something for their children; and still other envious people get pleasure in meeing that people with whom they compete do not get something.

I prefer mutton, which is two year old sheep, roasted, cold, with mint sauce [not mint goop which they call mint sauce in supermarkets]. Hogget is one year old and lamb less than that. Actually, I'm guessing at those ages, but it's just a matter of age and about those times.

I have no idea what the wool/meat/skin/breeding balance of profitability is.
