Tax cuts are not giving any one money. They are an act to cut the amount that is taken. If I go out to your house with a gun and take $100, and then the next day I go over and take $50, I wasn't giving you $50 the next day.

Right...the giving is done indirectly. However the intent does not change, we will put some extra $$$ in your pocket [thru tax cuts] with the understanding that you are to go out and buy a new dvd player or maybe more appropriately......a stapler...tax cuts never result in all that much extra $$$ individually.

I am only suggesting that its not needed and I think Bush knows that and I am sure AH told him that in their meeting.
