Chapt. 7 usually means sell the furniture and left over paper clips and, then, shut down. It usually means that a bankruptcy judge has ruled that their is no hope going forward.

Actually what the bank lenders and debtholders are saying is that Leucadia's deal is piece of crap. They wanted more. I think Warren Buffett played a big role in this process. Waiting for more news.
