Couldn't agree with MC (and your post) MORE. When I read the WSJ's article titled "Compaq Posts Big Loss, Cuts Outlook, But Inventory Levels Buoy Stock Price" It made me sick for its intentional negative bias ! Michael

Profile 14, The print media company surprised me. However, it was a basic oversight in the personnel department. Personnel got confused over the "physically handicapped" hiring program. Like most good people they thought broadening the program to include the mentally challenged was the right thing to do. I absolutely agree with them. However, the guy would have been very happy in the food service area. I'm sure they will be happy to print a statement of remorse on page 34B.<g> I can see how a young reporter could be caught up in the current "gloom and doom" atmosphere surrounding company earnings. Maybe this is a young reporter not use to following companies and reporting complete factual information. The analyst doesn't surprise me. His seems more interested in controversy and celebrity then actual work quality. Thanks for the information. It is comforting to find that MC shares my low opinions and is working on the issue. NW
