definitely. the Japanese bear comes closer to its resolution by the day. but the time isn't right quite yet imo, especially as the Yen may have further downside potential. i wouldn't even rule out that the Nikkei might manage to hold its lows of '98, although i'm more inclined to think that it won't. from a contrarian perspective the negative sentiment on and in Japan is of course interesting. but that has been the case for quite some time.
in order to become more constructive toward Japan i'd like to see the bad debt and malinvestment overhang disappear in a washout...
